Join Us

The CCO welcomes new members any time through the playing season. Our members range from amateur musicians with at least three years of playing experience, up to advanced/professional musicians. We are a full orchestra with string, woodwind, brass and percussion sections.

New members don't need to audition. We choose parts based on playing ability and personal judgement. Our conductor and concert master will assign or rotate parts within sections as needed.

Rehearsals are weekdays typically from 7-9pm. We have four main season concerts a year, a summer pops concert, and occasional chamber music concerts around the CSRA.
